Метод составления родословных pedigree для отдельных индивидуумов (пробандов) с целью определения типов наследования изучаемых (нормальных и патологических) признаков; наиболее широко М.п. применяется в генетике человека.* * *Пробанда метод — метод составления родословных, широко используемый в генетике человека для сравнения в семье пробанда детей, у которых проявляется изучаемый нормальный или патологический признак этого пробанда, сравнение фактической частоты проявления этого признака с ожидаемой, a priori допуская, что он наследуется как моногенный признак, т. е. контролируется одним геном. Напр., при рассмотрении группы семей, в которых оба родителя гетерозиготны по рецессивным аллелям и в каждой семье имеется по двое детей, доля детей, у которых проявляется изучаемый признак, оказывается равной 57%, а не 25%, как ожидалось. Это происходит вследствие того, что семьи были выбраны по детям, несущим изучаемый признак, а их братья и сестры, у которых данный признак не проявился, не учитывались.Англо-русский толковый словарь генетических терминов > proband method
